Ms. Chandra Silva has once again extended her generosity towards the Deegawapiya Trust Fund, by donating another Rs. 4 million for the renovations of the Deegawapiya Stupa.

Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne who is also the ‘Author of the Deegawapiya Aruna Trust’ and the ‘First Trustee’, received the donation today (May 16) at the Ministry of Defence, Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte.

This latest contribution reaffirms her commitment to supporting the noble cause of the trust, bringing her total contribution to Rs. 10 million, in addition to the previous Rs. 6 million grant.

Mr. Janaka Silva and Ms. Manojika de Silva were also present at the occasion.
