Exposition of Deegawapiya Relics continues further in Anuradhapura
The procession of the Sacred Omniscient Relics of Deegawapiya Stupa unearthed from the Deegawapiya site during excavations and the Crest-Gem, currently on island-wide public veneration to provide devotees with opportunity to pay their homage recently arrived to Anurdhapura.
These revered articles have been on exhibition at the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanweli Maha Seya and Sandahiru Seya premises since March 18 and arrangements have been made for further exposition of these revered articles at several Buddhist shrines in Anuradhapura to provide devotees with opportunity to pay their homage.
Accordingly, arrangements have been made for the exposition of these sacred Omniscient Relics of Deegawapiya Stupa and the Crest-Gem at Rambewa Buddhist Centre on April 5 and 6, at the Medavachchiya Bharathindra Centre on 7 and 8, at Kabithigollewa Weheragama Ancient Rajamaha Viharaya on 9 and at Horowpathana Sri Swarnathilakaramaya Temple on April 10.
Hence, the devotees have the opportunity to support the restoration work of the Deegawapiya Stupa by making financial contributions while worshiping the Sacred Omniscient Relics and Crest Gem of the Deegawapiya Stupa.
