The Procession carrying the sacred Omniscient Relics of Deegawapiya Stupa and the Crest-Gem arrived at the Gangarama Temple yesterday evening (Sep 03).

This will provide a rare opportunity for the devotees to pay homage to the Deegawapiya revered articles and further to extend their contribution to the restoration work of the Deegawapiya premises graced by the Lord Buddha.

The revered articles are placed on 03 and 04 September at the Gangarama Temple for public veneration. Afterwards, they will be placed at the Ananda College on September 05 and the students as well as devotees are facilitated to pay homage to the revered articles at the College premises.

Subsequently, arrangements will be made for the exposition of these revered articles at Sri Sambodhi Temple on 06 and 07, Kaduwela Sangha Pitti Ancient Temple on 08 and Panagoda Bodhirajaramaya on 09. They are taken to Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya for veneration of devotees on September 10 and 11.
