A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Chairman of the Ceylon Ceramics Corporation and ‘Deegawapiya Trust Fund’ today (Mar 07) with regard to supplying required raw material (soil) for the manufacturing of bricks for the Deegawapiya Stupa restoration project.

Chairman of Ceylon Ceramics Corporation Ruwan Munasinghe, considering the requirement of obtaining quality raw materials (soil) for manufacturing bricks to the Deegawapiya Stupa restoration project signed the MoU with Secretary Defence Gen. Kamal Gunaratne who is also the ‘Author of the Deegawapi Aruna Trust’ and ‘First Trustee’ ‘Deegawapiya Trust Fund’ for the supply of raw material (soil) from the Corporation’s Eragama site on gratis basis.
