Deegawapiya Trust Fund received donations worth of Rs. 600,000 from two donors today (Apr 7).
 
Accordingly the Defence Secretary and Chairperson of Presidential Task Force for the Archaeological Heritage Management in the Eastern Province, Gen. Kamal Gunaratne received a cheque worth of Rs. 500,000 from Shantha Kulasekara and Nilanthi Kulasekara at the Defence Ministry today.

Similarly Dinithi Wijesundara also handed over a cheque worth of Rs. 100,000 to the Defence Secretary for the noble cause.

Defence Ministry's Military Liaison Officer Brig. Dinesh Nanayakkara and the project officers were also present at the event.
